HSP Nature Toys Celebrates 20 Years!

The fun, educational kits created by HSP Nature Toys in 1992 are still popular twenty years later!

HSP's first educational kit, the Root-Vue Farm®, is a fascinating garden laboratory where kids of all ages watch carrots, radishes, and onions grow underground. The kit comes with super-expanding soil wafers, three types of seeds, identification labels and a 16 page experiment booklet. It also features a self-watering wicking system making it easier for first time gardeners to be successful. The viewing window is set at a proper angle and includes a light shield to protect roots when not in use.

When first released, The Root-Vue Farm® generated immediate interest and won awards by Parent's Choice and Dr. Toy, who gave it a socially responsible toy award. Over the years, Root-Vue has been featured on Oprah, Good Morning America and the CBS Early Show! Most recently it was showcased in Better Homes and Garden's Spring Issue, and was voted "The Coolest Gadget of 2012" by Popular Mechanics. Many teachers use the Root-Vue year after year in their classroom and purchase the available refill kits.

HSP's other product, Worm-Vue Wonders™, explores the underground world of earthworms! These precious creatures are nature's great recycler's, turning dead materials into organic fertilizer for plant life. Worm-Vue features a double-sided viewing unit, complete with black shields to protect worms from the light. Kids lift the shields for quick viewing and watch as worms dig tunnels to create drainage for plants. A mail-in certificate for live worms costs $12.95 and includes soil wafers, alfalfa food, and perlite, and is shipped priority mail, year-round, in the USA only (excluding Hawaii).

Teachers love Worm-Vue in the classroom, including the 16-page experiment booklet, the double-sided Worm Facts and Anatomy Poster, as well as the colorful "Super Squirmin" cutouts.

HSP Nature Toys main office (and worm nursery) is located in Southern Vermont, while the warehouse is in the Los Angeles area. All kits are made entirely in the USA and have full safety approval that meets or exceeds CPSIA regulations.

For easy set-up, HSP features videos on their website at www.hspnaturetoys.com. Downloadable booklets are also available on the site, as well as answers to FAQ's and re-sale information.
