Announcing Penelope Anne Cole's first books, "Magical Matthew," and "Magical Mea," artwork by Kevin Collier, published by Guardian Angel Publishing.

The series begins with a young Matthew with magical powers secretly fixing things for his family and friends. His close friend Lily suspects something. Worried Lily will guess his secret, Matthew confides in Grandma Nonie. Should he tell Lily? It's a sweet story about using your talents to help others, and deals with differences and changes. The story continues with Matthew's little sister, "Magical Mea." Both books are Finalists in Reader's Favorite Awards Program.

Ms. Cole has taught at every grade level before writing children’s books. Magical Matthew is her first published children's book -- with more to come!

Ms. Cole is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and is a Certified Reading Therapist with Read America. She has a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a B.A., and an M.A. in Education. She and her family live in Santa Clara, California, with their cats and dogs .
